Re: going crazy
Pulling a plug while the engine is cranking or running generally blows the coil inside the distributor.

Re: 93 Civic - pulled plug wire, now won't start
do you hear the main relay click wen u turn the key?
i had this same exact problem, i pulled off 2 ignition wires to kill then engine and ended up frying my coil.
make sure the new coil you put in is good by checking resistances with an ohm meter.
how do you know the icm is good? u can pull it out and have it tested at almost all auto parts stores.
did you use a test light or multimeter to test the fuses? make sure 10000000 times that all fuses are in and that theyre good, i accidentally pulled 1 out and forgot to put it in, then i changed my faulty part (coil) but still didnt have spark. i wasted a day testing connections and the main relay etc etc...only to find that i forgot to put a fuse back in
in my 1999 civic, when you touch the negative screw goin 2 the coil with a test light and crank the engine you should see the light flash on and off, if you dont see this then the icm isnt getting its input from the ecu.
did you check the distributor? look in your haynes manual and i think there should be a sectino that tells you how to test the sensors in the distributor, basically you measure resistances across terminals at the connector that goes to the dizzy.
download the factory service manual for your car and troubleshoot. ull find ur problem.

Re: 93 Civic - pulled plug wire, now won't start
i hear the fuel pump come on when i turn the key 2 on,the black & yellow wire is power but the white & blue wire dont show any power thats w/ a test light.but then i used a multimeter 4 resistance & instead of putting mm tips on wire i put them straight 2 the terminals i did have 2 replace the coil im at a loss what 2 do ?????????????????????????????????????
