Default 93 civic no start

have a 93 civic dx auto it sat for a month or two with a full tank of gas
went to start it up and said it was on E (wierd) so i put a jerry can of gas in it and seems to be holding at a 1/4 of a tank now, i checked for gas at the fuel rail and theirs gas their/ has a new fuel filter / has spark / all fuses are good/ swaped a map sensor that works on my other 92 civic and the main relay has new cap rotor wires and plugs looked at the ecu no burns or moister in it, fuel pump primes fine every time no CEL timming belt is not that old and not broken, starter seems to turn over just fine

any suggestions what to check or do next it SHOULD RUN

Well the main relay was the obvious choice. It takes Fuel, Fire and Compression to make the world go round. Pull the plugs and check for spark, if spark is there (and its strong), check fuel pressure. Let me know what you find.

Spark should be bright white at all 4 spark plugs. Check that.

Also check the mechanical timing. The timing belt may have skipped a tooth or two.

If those are fine, compression test the cylinders.
