93 civic lx - speedometer stops working after 30 minutes **helP**
i would like to know wats going wrong..my speedometer doesnt work until 30 mintues later or its been sittin in the hot sun almost the day .every other guage work expept the speedometer

gauge could be going out i have gone through 2 already probably going to replace with an autometer speedo or something

I would recommend checking the transmission area for the speed sense harness and unit. Make sure non of the wires (or plug itself) are chaffed, disconnecting, or just falling apart. You can check online here for location of the unit and how to remove it.
