93 civic hatchback/y8 swap/P28 ECU - 2 separate issues [Interm wiper & Cel 22]
Whats up guys,
After some research I am here to ask for some individual help because I couldn't find an answer . I have two issues that are bugging the crap out of me.
1. It rained today, so I turned on my wipers and found out that the Intermittent wiper option doesn't work. Low & high work perfectly fine. It just sucks having to have the wipers on the whole time when its barely drizzling.
Rear wiper works fine as well (dont know if this has anything to do with it but yeah)
2. CEL #22 is back. (VTEC pressure valve switch) I checked the engine oil and its fine. VTEC solenoid is clean as well. Umm, my car used to be a auto and was converted to manual. I'm running a y8 swap at the moment. Where do i go from here?
Thanks in advanced guys

Re: 2 seperate issues [Interm wiper & Cel 22]
sorry, I figured the engine would be enough.
93 civic hatchback, y8, auto to manual swap, p28 ecu.
How can I test the switch? am I looking for continuity? power? etc..

Ron, any input as to how I can fix the CEL issue?
This issue has come and gone a number of times, which is why I sometimes disregard it, but its time I finally trace the problem. Is there anything that I can try tomorrow to see if it fixes the problem?
what throws me off is the fact that it comes and goes periodically, maybe 3 weeks to a month at a time...its been 3 days now and its still on. Im stumped.

ok, I finally got the chance to check out the switch, everything checked out fine. There's continuity on every setting.
When you mentioned this:
"Does the Blk wire of the pressure switch have continuity to body ground?" Should I trace the black wire from the switch to see if it connects directly to a ground? If so, I havent done so because it's all wrapped up, but I will if needed.
