I have a boosted d16z6 eg hatch. i took it to the gas station this last week and got gas in it, went to leave and it was dead in the water. all my pillar lights came on, my stereo(light, was shut off) and the brake light in my dash. no ECU, battery, oil pressure lights came on, just the brake light, and the fuel pump would not prime. i tested the battery, ignition switch, all the fuses, clutch safety switch. i tryed a known good ecu and main relay from friends EG, and nothing changed... disconected the battery, let it sit, hooked it back up and all my lights in the dash were back, fuel pump primed, all was fine. tryed to turn it over, and all went blank again. tryed to jump the starter, and nothing happened. decided to push start it and it started and drove fine. shut it off, disconected the starter, turned the key on, and all was fine, fuel pump, all lights.... let the key go, all was good. came to the conclusion that the starter (somehow) was back feeding the system and causing it to go dead. bought a new starter, put it in, turned on key, everything is great, try to crank, everything goes out again. i work at NAPA, and am a decent mechanic, have a few (paid) mechanic friends, and alot of advisors, WE ARE ALL CLUELESS!!! please, oh please help me to get back to the track. lol

Have you double checked all your grounds? Transmission ground, by the thermostat. Everything. Make sure they are all nice and tight.

They look like crap but yes I did check and they are tight. I'm going to replace anyway.

Sorry i did not get back sooner. so i repleaced the ground wire and it fixed my problem. after taking it off i was able to see just how corroded the inside of the wire was. thanks for the help pelayo...
