93 civic hatch only getting one click from my main realy.
Ok I have a 1993 civic 1.5l with a vtec head off a 1.6 I had noticed that when I throw my car in first gear I can burnout no problem but when i shift it into second gear I have a little loss of power like it should chirp on second but does not. I got a new catalytic thinking it was that well it wasnt. I been reading about main relays and how you should hear it click twice. When I put my car to turn on I heard one click tried various times only one click. car Idles fine car does not shut of its just that second gear is slightly weak. can anyone throw any Ideas my way would changing the main relay fix this is this a fuel pump issue I dont know because like I said the car seems fine other than that. Bless me with your knowledge and I will be very thankfull. Oh also no check engine comes on at all even during the click.

Yes the car starts fine I know its not the clutch because the rpm would be high if it was slipping. If you think its not the relay can you throw me in the right direction. I figured scince it was clicking only once it might be in that area.

I don't think the main relay would have anything to do with that. Have you replaced your plugs, cap and rotor, and also how is your timing. Mini-Me conversions are far from perfect like a stock Z6 would be. Could be a timing issue.
