Radiator Over Flowing 99 Civic EX
1999 Civic EX, 204,000 miles. So my Civic has the following symptoms. At about every 350 mile interval, the radiator is pushing about a pint or so of fluid into the over flow tank. When it cools, the antifreeze is not being pulled back into the radiator. I replaced the rad cap and it still does the same thing. There is no antifreeze in the oil. There is no white smoke from the exhaust at start up or driving. After 350 miles, the overflow tank is about a pint or so higher so I move it back into the radiator and I’m good for another 350. I’m not losing any antifreeze during this cycle which is puzzling. If I drive it more than 350 mile, eventually the overflow tank will overflow. This is how I first found the problem. The temperature gauge always shows normal. I believe it’s the head gasket but wanted a sanity check. Other than this issue, the car is driving perfect. Thanks in advance.
