93 Civic hatch B18c1 motor Swap
Okay So last night I was racing this dude. The car was going fast and then it just poped. I rolled all the way to a stop. I can put it in gear it just won't accelerate and it makes a sound like a garbage disposal like something is broken under the car. Do you think it may be the axel? Also how much would this run me?

Just because u can move the shifter don't mean jack, it isn't moving so actually u don't have it in any gear. U mean u can move the shifter not put it in gear but u would find out more if u go and inspect things.

Not trying to give you a hard time but if it were my car and that happened, I would be under there checking things out before coming on here asking people do they think it could be this or that. If its an axle it will be very obvious when you look under the car. If it turned out to be and nothing else is damaged, then you simply go get another axle, get the old one out, install new and go drive your car. Quicker than waiting for people to tell you what to look at. Good luck and hopefully its nothing major.

I don't know, you tell me? Why not look instead of posting to see if others say it could be your axle, of course it could be. So I would go check it out if I were you.

Yeah, we'll the night was a little crazy I had no jack and I posted that on my girlfriends computer. I checked to see what was going on. My Drivers Side Axle Assembly Broke, Also the Tire Rods where very loose the tire was wobbling so I got those fixed to Inner and Outter. I did the Axle Assembly myself. It was 109.00 From Oriely's for the part and once you bring them back your old assembly they give you back like 39.99. Tire Rods ran me 200 and 140 for Installation at the honda dealer.
