Hey guys, I have a 93 civic, and I am in the process of putting a H22A in it. I just have some questions about how I can still run it with a/c. I dont need power steering, just a/c. Can I use my stock ac lines, evaporator, condensor, and pump, or do I have to cut my frame a little. Pics would help a lot. Thank you very much, David

no you cant, i have a 92 w/the same swap, you have to get custom ac lines build...mined had to get cut and bent, and idk...my friend did it, he charged me around 800 to do it, but stock lines wont work...and one big thing you should do make sure all ur electrical is correct cause h22a are a big problems in eg's...this happen to mine, but i looked it over...

No reason to be scared off by that last post. Doing AC on your car is not that bad.

1. You will have to either remove a bolt from your driver tow hook or possibly the whole tow hook depending on the mounts you used.
2. Condensor should be moved forward and putting a pusher fan on the front side will help with clearance; use the stock EG condensor.
3. H22 compressor and the refrigerant "manifold" is needed. You really just need the aluminum part; not the hoses.
4. Use the OEM EG wiring for the AC system (duh). There are NO problems doing it this way.
5. Go to a shop that makes AC lines once you have everything mocked up. The guy that ended up building the lines on my friends 95 hatch charged I think $120 to make both lines.

So, in a nutshell, NO it won't cost you $800 unless you go to the wrong place. Shouldn't cost over 200 and that's if you get gouged a little. Good luck.
