I am coming from the mini trucking world. This is my first turbo build I decided to go with a a d16z6 I just want some advice I have read everthing I can find and been researching quite a bit. I'm trying to get around 300 whp should I rebuild with stock internals? Do I need to bore or just go with stock size do I need to change rods what to do with head? Sorry for the long post just looking for any guidance thanks in advance. Also anyone in charlotte nc?

You definatly don't want to do 300whp on stock internals, you need to build the block (rods,pistons) or else it'll go boom. You can get away with 250whp on stock internals with a very good tune but even that is dangerous.

Im trying to build a mini me turbo build and i was wondering how much horsepower do you think i could et out of it?

stay stock bore size so u have stronger cylinder walls. if u want to bore at all just go to a 75.5mm piston i dont recommend going any larger and u will be able to get the HP goal ur looking for with the rite turbo combination. if u want 300hp id look into a cam,pistons, and rods. off a stock block you can make 200-220 reliably thats about all out of a stock block. or u could swap to a b series and turbo that near 300hp on stock internals on a good tune. the choice is urs. a built d series will be able to make more then 300hp when built. the main thing is not to go cheap on tuning. NO FMU's or stock injectors or AFC Hacks!!!!!!!
