93 Civic ex to integra rear disc brake swap
Ok, Ive purchased Integra rear disc brakes to do a swap. Now I know you have to change the prop valve and ebrake cables. Problem with the setup i got is the rear trailing arm bushings are shot. Being that these werent on my car, do I just clock the new bushings to the same positions as the previous ones currently still on there or do I have to make some guesstimates on where where they should be?

I would measure the bushings you have on the car right now and try to dupicate their "ride height" position for the new bushings on the new trailing arms. It shouldn't be too dificult, but I know it's hard to see under there.
Use a straight edge to draw the line on the old arms with the car at ride height. Then when you remove the old arms, use the line to figure out the angle for the new arms. Good luck.

Yeah like this. Only do it while the arm is still on the car, and the car is on the ground. Then just copy the same angle over to the new trailing arm.
Or just skip all that and buy spherical bearings. JHPUSA has a kit that corrects the toe-out/droop issue with an offset bearing. Pretty cool but costs $270.

Unfortunately that doesn't explain anything about clocking the bushing for a lowered car (you don't want it in the same position as stock)..
Also his comment about not needing an alignment after removing the arm is just silly. Especially if you remove the compensator arm WITH the trailing arm (since the inner bolt is the adjustment bolt). lol
PS: I seriously doubt a 20 year old TA bushing is gonna tap out that easily. If you notice, the bushing he was working on was new. Still worth a try though. Also the depth you set the bushing at is pretty important to allow the new rubber to last. Measure the depth of the original bushing on the back-side before removing it. Then you can set your new bushing the same.

Well the car isnt lowered nor will it ever be in the rear. I am interested in in exchanging the drums for discs. I have yet to see a how to that explains how to clock when the arms are already off a car and going to a new car. I appreciate the info and when I get home today I will look into the picture from EG! above (I cant view stuff like that at work because the FW blocks it )

You guys need a 3-5 pound hammer, pb blaster/wd-40, and some strength bc I did this last week, it only took me several pounds and it was off.

I took mine out with a air impact chisel / hammer. Still was harder than the hubs of hell. They make a tool / manual press that you can use on the car...

Yeah Im looking for this tool, I just dont want to spend the money to use it for 2 bushings. I've seen varients with adjustable jaws, but would prefer to rent it or some other lesser expensive process.

If you can, get us a part number please. The guys at my store look at me like I'm a retard when I ask for something odd. I have to provide a part number for them to even look for it. You should have been there when I asked to rent the "Honda ball joint adapter set". You would have thought I was speaking Russian or something...

Perhaps you need to do the Jim Carey "Butt Cheek" impersonation to get them to understand.
