Default 93 Civic EX Idle adjustment

I searched all over this board and I'm only finding on how to do this on upgraded motors... I have a 93 Civic EX with the bone stock B16Z6 motor and I've found the screw but I'm trying to figure out if I have to remove a wire before I adjust the idle. Each car seems to have a different procedure.. Thanks in advance. Also, would a vacuum leak cause your car to drop rpms when you push the brake down or when the AC kicks in? Everything I've read about vacuum leaks point to increased revs instead.

Its not a B16Z6, its a D16Z6. You will need to disconnect the idle air control valve and then set the idle. Should be 400rpms with the valve disconnected and 600-650 with the valve plugged in.
