Default 93 civic ex with d15b7 to d16y8 manual

hello everyone, I’m new to Honda tech as a member but I’ve read through the forums for a while. I apologize if I make any mistakes but I need help with this new project. I have a 1993 ex civic coupe with an auto d15b7 which I know isn’t stock for an ex civic. Today I bought a wrecked 1996 ex civic coupe with a manual d16y8The rings are going bad on the 93 auto and I figured it’s a good time to swap in the y8. My question is what parts can I use from the 96 on my 93 for the swap and what parts will I need to buy? I know I need an auto to manual mount so I went ahead and bought the 3pcs auto to manual mount kit from hasport. I’m gonna go ahead and thank everyone that replies

p28 ecu, add wires for vtec. use your existing harness, "t" bracket, etc. the y8 linkage, axles, engine and transmission will work. your b7 distributor bolts right on the y8, same with your alternator. you'll need to swap injectors out if you want to use the y8 intake manifold, or use the one off the b7

What difference in performance is there between the mani from the b7 and the y8? Why do I need to change distributors and alternators
