93 civic eg instrument cluster issue
Hey guys I've seen this covered on separate occasions but not when it occurs as a whole. I have a 93 civic si hatch with 124k miles, giving as a gift by my stepfather. The speedometer works sporadically with a jumpy needle on occasions. I read that this could be a vss sensor or wire contact issue. I also, on the same instrument cluster, have an inaccurate fuel gauge. It either reads full or close to empty. Both are annoying & have me guessing on how fast I'm going & how much gas I have left in the tank. Do you guys just think it's the whole instrument cluster that is on it's last leg or vss speed sensor & fuel sensor both crapping out on me at the same time. Oh yeah I have CEL so haven't done a code check. Any advice would be appreciated

Yeah most likely the issue. What do I expect from a 10 year old 124k mile car, parts are gonna stop working sooner or later. Just was trying to get opinion since first time I seem both issues come up at the same time. Gonna try a junkyard soon to hopefully resolve issue.
