Default 93 civic cluster plate wont come out

i undid the 2 screws on the top, but i cannot get it out it seems to be stuck on the heater vents. i also see tabs in the back above the heater, could that have anything to do with it. and the hazard lights button is still in it, does that effect it?? thanks

Behind the hazard button is a screw, but according to another post, you got it off.

well after you get all the screws, (2 on top and one behind hazard) just take a screwdriver and mess with it on all sides. it took me awhile and i did it just yesterday. a friend and I thought we were gonna break it but it just takes a lot of play and just make sure you aren't TOO rough

I just did this not to long ago as well. Do those three screws first. Then under the heater vents there are to little metal clips that catch on the dash when you go to pull it out. I found simply using a thin flat head to gently pry these clips above from catching the dash works good and doesn't put too much stress on the bezel. lol I did this in 20 degree weather so if it worked for me in the cold it should work fine where your at.

Three screws and you're done. The only other thing required: PATIENCE! Gently work a screwdriver in there and gently pry out. Take your time and you'll get it. I rushed and broke it around the left vent...
