93 Civic 4dr electrical issue

I just picked up a 93 4dr 5spd Civic from a kid who told me he hooked the battery up backwards. There is no fuel pump kick in when turning the key. I jumped the pump directly to a battery and the pump is good. I also attempted to start the car with the pump running and have no spark I'm assuming by the lack of firing. All fuses are good. Most vehicles have a main fuse that blows when a battery is hooked up backwards to prevent circuit failure.

So my question is what should I be replacing next?? I've never owned a Honda so I'm not sure where to start with this. ECM possibly?? Or is there a relay I'm not aware of??

Does the starter crank the engine fine when the key is turned to ON(III)?

Do the headlights work fine?

When you turn the key to ON(II), does the CEL turn on and then off after 2 seconds? Does the battery/charging system warning light turn on?

check your main fuel relay under the steering wheel.

Starter cranks the engine over fine. I'll check the headlights. Nothing kicks in and there are no battery charging lights on or check engine lights on. I replaced the main relay to no avail. The ACG and SRS fuses continue to blow when I install them.

Does it crank?

This^ is the problem. Fuse 24 in the SRS block protects the main relay, fuel pump, and ECU circuits. Locate the short and fix it.

Any guesses where that short might be located at??

Start here. Buy a box of 15A fuses and replace blown fuse 24. Then remove the rear seat and the maintenance lid for the fuel pump. Unplug the fuel pump connector and then check whether this prevents fuse 24 from blowing.
