Default 93-95 Del Sol or 95 GS-R

I need help, I have a 93 Del Sol w/ 138k for 2500 offered, and a GS-R for 5000, with 109k. Which one should I go for. I like both cars, but I dont know what to go for. And the Del Sol is single cam. But motors isnt the big issue for me, its which car I will be comfortable with in the long term. There both in mint condition from the out, and in. Both run strong. I plan on doing suspension, motor, the works on either if I get one. But which one??? HELP!

The delsol is a great weekend car but you have almost no storage inside. You can only fit 1 passenger in it, your roof will most likely start to leak unless it has the upgraded seals, I have a delsol and love it, but I only use it on the weekends. The insurance is cheaper than a gsr.

Oh, and the Del Sol is Red with Black interior, and the GS-R is Black with Black interior(cloth). Both have the factory alloys. As far as fitting my needs, both are gas friendly, which is my biggest concern right now, and I dont have a family, just a girl, which is why I considered the Del Sol. HELPPPP

Del sols are fun lil cars.... but you will eventually be left wanting more ...... the gs-r is a great car as well .... but is (as far as i know ) a bit heavier .......
If your going for more all out performance i would say the del sol IMO...
\Good luck with whatever you chose though

I would go with the GSR

Better Brakes
Better Interior (IMO)
Better Motor (Even if you say you dont care, the GSR will feell 100 time better)
Looks better (IMO)
Sits 4 (You never know when you're gonna need more space)

It's just an overall better car.

Reason why its a hard choice, my friend has a Del Sol with a GS-R motor, and a N1 catback, and its a beast, tanabe sus., its always a blast in that car(and supposedly he says it has a wider front track for more grip and traction, dont know if thats true, but the car pulls hard) and my other friend has a 97 Red GS-R, leather interior, and its so smooth, and pulls hard too, and all he did is remove the resignator box, so its all stock, height and all.... So it leaves me in the middle, cuz my Del Sol friend said GET THE DEL SOL, and my DC2 fanatic said GET THE GS-R, I know there both nice cars, but like I said, HEELLLPPP, which ever I get is gonna be a project car, especially since there both bone stock!

get the gsr, you start with a better motor that you don't have to spend thousands on to make it semi-fast and never need to swap out.

gsr + turbo + suspension and tires = very very fast car

just weigh out your options... is the del sol an si?? does it have rear disc? abs? is this going to be a weekend car? sounds like a daily driver... and for that.. your gsr has a dohc vtec more fun to drive.. rear disc.. (abs i duno) it has power everything sunroof optional...so overall stock performance the gsr is a better choice, however if your del sol has rear disc and u like swaps... you will love the del sol after the swap, also you can take weather into consideration... do you ever drive in the snow?? the gsr is a heavier car so that would be better in bad weather conditions....your choice just do a lil research on em...since they will b project cars.. the del sol is lighter and will pull harder than the gsr....and it doesn't have a wider front wat ever... its just as wide as an eg or not as wide for that matter...

Get the GSR which already has a very nice power plant to start with, do a full tune up, headgasket, pumps, plugs, headstuds, and then boost it.

If that's truly the only choices, then no doubt get the Integra GS-R.

You never specified what trim level the Del Sol was, but even if it was a DOHC VTEC model with the B16A I'd still get the GS-R.

The Honda Del Sol it is. The GS-R has been sold. Well, Ill be keeping updates on the Del Sol, and it is going to be my daily driver. Its single cam VTEC, Si model. I plan on getting the 96' spec type-R sus., for starters, and the swap will come later this summer. That GS-R was a good buy, for who ever bought it. Oh well.... Its destiny!

Best case it's an SI, they didn't make the DOHC in the US in 93.

Dude, open the trunk. The two cars in question share the same platform, it's not like the Sol is THAT small.
