92 vx hatch with d16z6 head..can it handle a turbo?
will this car be able to handle a turbo. it has the d16z6 head with manifold and tb. basically the block is just a vx. will this motor be able to handle a turbo set-up without blowing anything?

Try talking to mista bone, he put up some pics awhiles back about the VX rods being pretty strong. Also, dniedacess has a vx turboed i believe, look around for posts from him. I'm currently doing that head swap btw, frigging crank pulley bolt is kicking my .... might have it towed to a shop so they can impact wrench it and maybe torch it loose. Hows your head swap running btw?

the car with this swap isn't mine, its a friend of mines. he was wondering if he could put the turbo in it or not. that bolt gave him a hard time also. when he put the new bolt in, in which he had to get a new one, he used that lock thread stuff. you would be better off getting it off whith and impactor. i have a dx hatch.
