92 Si- Wont Start-need help
Ok here goes..
Car:92 si
Motor: jdm gsr B18c
Well i had blown the motor around 8 months ago, had a rebuild done.. but i used the same head and it was no good.. so i bought another bare Gsr head, and a few days b4 i decide to do the head swap the car died on me when i was getting on the high way out of no where.. i wasn't pushing the car hard either, grandpa driving...
I couldn't get it started so i had it towed to the house.. and still couldn't get it started so i figured now was a good time to do the head swap.. so i got the machine shop to transfer all my internals over and then today i just finished putting the motor back together. and i got a new fuel pump\filter..
-The car has spark, took out my distrib. and it worked on a friends car, spark plugs are brand new-i bought them from a tune shop and he had gap'd the plugs b4 putting them in..
- the car has fuel, i hear the fuel pump turn on, checked the plugs to see if the injectors have power, the spark plugs get flooded w\ fuel after cranking the motor for too long.
i checked all the fuses and everything is good... air\fuel\spark... i even tried my ecu on my friends car and it worked... what more is there to check?

if all your fuses (underdash and engine), fuel pump primes, lights on cluster come on, you have spark, and the car just keep turning and turning.
its your main relay. so common a problem that there is a post like this every week use your friends to test yours
if you look behind your hood release and about 6 o'clock you will see a silver box bolted to the bottom driverside kick panel area.
clip off clip your friends on.. and see what happens

I have an issue kinda like this and I found out that even though the 15amp fuse to the ecu wasnt fried, I replaced it with a 30 amp fuse and it fired right up. I didnt have any fuses with me so I used my defroster fuse just to get me home and she fired right up.
