Default 92 integra rear disc brake conversion on 98 DX?

i have a 98 Dx and my buddy has a totaled 92 integra sitting in his back yard so i said id take the rear disc brakes off his hands. so i have everything for the conversion. i already read the thread in the FAQs, but im a little confused. will the 92 integra assembly bolt directly up to my 98 dx?

i dont think so but there are people here that know waaaaaaaaay more than I do. I think you have to go with the DC rear set but they aren't too expensive anymore and the results are well worth it, I did it to mine The 94-01 Integra setup is a straight swap. Good luck!

Yes, the rear discs will bolt up fine. You'll need 99-00 Si ebrake cables though.

that sucks ... also remember you're swapping out your 98 bushings and such for 92 rear suspension bushings ... I guess if that doesn't bother you then you're good to go! Again, good luck! Its a few fun hours worth of work

You're swapping 1 bushing per side at the most (the big rear trailing arm bushing, since it's the only arm that is used), and those should be replaced while the trailing arms are out of the car anyway.

You can alternately do the conversion without swapping any bushings at all, if you just unbolt the hub assemblies from the trailing arms.

It's four torx T50 bolts and a 24mm nut to remove the rear spindle or hub or whatever you call it. There's a monster brake tread that I used to do mine brake rear brake swap. Just search "civic brake" and it'll come up. It'll tell you everything you need to know from doing a integra brake swap up to a NSX brake swap.

Because I have no life. I found it for you. Good luck with the swap.
