Default 92 Honda Civic Si overheating, Need Help!

My EG Hatch has been over heating. Coolant was leaking from what looks like the bottom of my radiator. So I decided to change the Radiator and might as well changed the thermostat, thermo seal, coolant temp sensor, fan switch, upper and lower radiator hoses too. I changed everything and it still overheats. Before the repairs, coolant leaked from the bottom of the rad, the idle was bouncing up and down and my fan never kicked on, my lower rad hose was not hot, it was cold but the upper hose was hot. Also the heater was not blowing hot anymore.

I would like to know what you guys think? I was thinking its a toss up between the water pump and the heater core

I wouldn't completely discount it but they dont go bad as often

you described pretty much a blockage somewhere in the cooling system dont forget to bleed your cooling system real good air in the system can also cause you some problems

Try running it with the radiator cap off with someone watching the temperature gauge just in case. Let it warm up, and add coolant as necessary. Then, check if there is coolant running into the radiator from the upper radiator hose. This will mean that the thermostat is opening and coolant is getting pumped through the engine.
