Hey Everyone I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have a 92 Honda Civic Dx Automatic everything is stock on the car

I'm a pizza delivery driver and last week i was out on a delivery i was heading out of the driveway and i turned onto the street i stepped on the gas but the car kinda idle it went up to and stayed at maybe 15mph then after a few more pumps of the pedal shot up to 40 and returned to normal. This seems to happen to me every time pull out of the driveway.

I do change gears quickly so is this maybe the problem hitting reverse then drive then making a quick turn not allowing the car sufficient time to change gears and causing the time delay or is it something else.

I have done an oil change, changing the filter and changed the air filter as well.
