i just got a 92 hatch with a gsr in it and i need a/c i have kids soo what i need to know if the parts are inter changeable between the years 92-95 from the coupe or sedan cuz i plain on searching the junk yards and finding the parts that i need.... soo my question is does it matter if it a coupe,sedan,or hatch of any year between 92-95 please lmk asap thanks honda-tech

Ok here is a break down on everything you will need. Hopefully you still have some of the AC components still on the car. You can use parts from any 92-95 Civic (96-00 may also work) be it a coupe sedan or hatch. You will need all the lines, dryer, condenser, evaporator, D series AC compressor, B20 CRV AC compressor mounting bracket so you can use the D series compressor on the B series block this makes it so you can use the D series AC lines, if you use the B series compressor you need to have custom AC lines made. Any B series AC belt tentioner, can be found with the CRV bracket if pulled from a wrecking yard. If you are luck the HVAC box with the evaporator are still intact behind the glove box. Hook it all up and take it in to have a vacuum pull on the system and to be filled with R-134a refrigerant. It is a good idea to flush out everything with a proper AC system flush, replace the compressor with a new unit, replace the dryer and thermal expansion valve to ensure proper operation and get a nice cool working AC system.
