92 hatch b18 swap keeps blowing the main relay
i have a 92 hatch b18 swap and for some reason my main relay keeps blowing out on me. I've checked the asg fuse I checked all the power coming in and out of the main plug which checks out fine..I checked the power going to the fuel pump which is fine..I,ve swapped ecus, fuel pump, ignition, main relays. If I put a new relay in the car will crank but only will last about two minutes before dieing and not being able to crank back up... ANy help would be greatly apprciated

Re: keeps blowing main fuse?
hears what it does if i put a brand new relay it will give me the main relay gives its first click when key is turned to on position then second click for fuel pump to prime then third when cel goes out car cranks and runs fine for about two minutes then dies. Then when I try to restart it the relay clicks twice really fast fuel pump makes a click noise doesn't prime and cel will stay on. Now when the cel stays on I try to do the cel diagnostics but when I jump the two wires out by the ecu nothing happens

What's odd is that fuse 31 or 24 or 18 does not blow before the main relay fries. What amp rating fuses are installed in the fuse 31, 24, and 18 slots?

Re: 92 hatch b18 swap keeps blowing the main relay & CEL on but no codes retrieved
ok i checked and redid all the grounds. I swapped out the fuel pump and swapped out the main harness to the ignition switch. I've tried numerous main relays. I put a different connector going to the fuel pump. I noticed I don't get any power when the key is in the number two position the clock and radio don't come on. I checked all the power going to the main relay harness and everything checks out. I have no blown fuses anywhere.I swapped out ecus. I'm totally stumped on this one can anybody help out???
