Default 92 ex coupe d15b2/b7 hybrid swap does nothing?

Car is a 92 coupe and I had put a full B7 swap in it, wired all factory to a P06 ecu and it started/ran fine... until a few months after it started to smoke real bad. I find a b2 long block, have the head rebuilt, assemble it and swap everything mpfi (b7 wise i.e. dizzy, complete intake manifold, coolant witer pipe etc..) onto it and put it in the car use the same wire harness and p06 to start it up.

The cars main relay NOW all of a sudden wont click, fuel pump wont prime and the oil pressure light or the ECU light will not come on, on the cluster when I put the key into the on position... WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

the main relay will click but only when i turn the key as if im starting it and with the clutch pedal pushed in all the way.. Oh and the radiator fan starts to run as well???... I am completely lost at what happened in the swap process. everything worked just fine now this..

I know it was a long read but any ideas out there???? Thanks

Some of the plugs are exactly the same, I don't recall which ones per say (maybe the TPS and one other?). Anyways, did you get like plugs reversed?

Like I said, I don't remember off the top of my head which two are identical, but I have seen it said time and time again for the 92-95 civics.

ALOT of them are the same like the map sensor and the tps sensor. Also the ECT, IAT, Evap purge plug etc are the same style but even if some were switched that wouldnt cause the main relay and fuel pump to not prime... it would just cause a CEL to come on the dash when running. But the CEL isnt even coming on when i out the car into the on position.

I really do appreciate your input i just have NO idea how or what could have caused this.. its really pissing me off and my brother in law will need this for work tmrw and I knew i would have the swap done by then but this happens... FML

Maybe you arced when hooking up the battery and popped the main fuse in the under hood fuse box.

The 80 amp fuse in the box is good along with all other fuses.. I also took the main relay out and tried it in one of my other cars and that car started just fine.. so the main relay is good and i am pretty sure the fuel pump is as well.

My grounds consist of...

Battery (duh)

both power and ground from starter to the under hood fuse box are good

Thermostat ground (ground down to clean metal and tightened back down)

valve cover to chassis

Not sure what else what it could be.. Most likely a broken/pinched wire in the engine harness upon removal of he engine? IDK... any other ideas out there?

Figured it out last night.. I didn't have a transmission ground to the chassis.. Which is really weird because the b7 I pulled out before didn't have one and it ran perfectly but the same swap (other than the b2 longblock) and it didn't want to do anything without it.. Just. Weird. Lol
