92 eg si build
I just picked up a 92 eg si for a very cheap price. The car needs a ton of work but in my opinion it is well worth every penny of the 1.3k i spent. The car was hit in the left rear panel. It was terribly patched up not to mention the cheap diy paint by the previous owner that is chipping off at every other corner. Currently sitting on cut springs the front lip is about .75 inch from the ground..... barely made it home without tearing the front lip off. Will be taking the ricer fake jdm and dohc sticker off the car asap. I am not quite sure what to do with the car yet, except for:
- New springs, corner lights, tail lights (the ones on the car were painted black with weird looking circles, wont even post up how ugly they are lol), new wheels ( already working on a set of rota battle I picked up for 60 bucks)
The engine needs a lot of work, there is something very wrong with it. I can hear it knocking every now and then and the car wont idle steadily, keep jumping from 700-1300rpm. I have never rebuild an engine before but I plan on rebuilding this z6 and eventually boost it. My bud told me I am looking to spend around 2k for the rebuild and boost, is that accurate?
here are some pictures: ( my camera makes the paint job looks way better than it actually is)
Let me know what do you guys think of it. Thanks for looking!

Re: 92 eg si build
It's definitely fixable for cheap if you do it yourself. Check out my del sol build. I got the car for $2700 and sunk about 2K into it so far. I was lucky enough to have a b16 though.
While it is a major pain in the ***, I really enjoyed doing all the body work and learning more about it.
