Default 92 Eg Gauge Cluster Question

I have a 92 Civic CX and I am looking to put a Si gauge cluster, and I have read that most swaps, within their respected years, are plug and play. Is this true? if not, what do I need? Thanks.

Not really, except the EX will have the A/T gear indicator lights if it's an A/T cluster.

CX, DX = no tach

VX, LX, EX, Si = tach, look similar but with different redlines

Si and EX = same redline

DX, CX, VX, Si door panels are the same, except for color and fabric. Coupe and HB panels are interchangeable.

Jeez.

There's another red button (not TRIAL) that says SEARCH.

Any of this **** is viewable on ebay if you just type in the cluster name - you can see what the hell it's all about.

This isn't rocket science, and has been covered MANY times.
