Default ++++92 DX, Vtec motor Check engine light++++

So I bought a 92 DX 4 door, is has a d16z6 motor. The car had a original DX computer, p06, and ran with no problems. Now, I put in a P28, wired the Vtec, and the check engine light is on. From the moment I put the key foward, it doesn't go away when I start the car. Ok, so I jump the connector to get the codes, and nothing happens. No codes, but car starts and runs fine, even the Vtec works.

Any ideas on why I'm getting the light? As far as I know, if the light is on, vtec don't work, I could be mistaken.

Someone suggested bad computer, but I don't see it.

Ok, figured out the problem. I cut the wrong connector.

Anyway, it's a code 19, which tells me that the computer is a auto, so I'm converting now to manual.
