ever since i put the motor swap into the car. i bought the car for 500 bucks, bought the swap + tranny for like 600 bucks, seats for 100 lol. so im trying to peice together a fun nifty car. i have the stock manual p05, and i have a auto p28 thats getting shipped out to xenocron next week. inside the throttle body there's 2 holes ontop of each other. when i cover the bottem hole the pusle goes away and it idles and revs perfectly fine... i dont know whats going on.

and also now, which it didnt do it before, when you let off the gas, the car seems to fall flat on its face and when you hit the acceleration it throws you back, i think it might be because of my shot passanger side axle though.

From the vid I can see that there is a CEL. I would start with that first.

Had the same/similar problem with a OBD2 D16, ended up being a vacuum leak. The throttle body gasket was shot. No CEL though.

Sorry, that's all I've got. Dealing with idle issues with these cars can be like chasing a ghost.

the CEL was due to at the time the p28 auto ecu that was in it, i put the P05 back in and there is no CEL. i was thinking maybe it was the p28's fault maybe a bad ecu, but its still idleing weird, you know that inhailing noise you hear from a vacuum leak? well when i cover the hole with my finger that noise goes away, is there a sensor around there that might be bad forcing it to stay open. i know it was bad but when the swap was first put into the car it didnt have a intake, just a open TB... maybe is something in there?

That's the exact sound my k20a2 swap made for awhile after I swapped it. Acura tried to force the idle relearn but it didn't work. It gradually got better and 3 or 4 days later, it was normal.

see my car always didnt sound like that, it happened if i remember correctly when i put he p28 on, and lost my p05 ecu... but now i put the p05 ecu back on and its still isnt stopping... i took pictures of what i meant.



cmon guys with all the plugs going to the TB, im sure there's a sensor on it, on the bottem of it? there's gotta be something falting tahts making these holes stay open.

not sure if it helps but this car WAS a auto, i threw a si tranny on it...

circled in black is the TPS sensor correct? maybe? ive played with that... Red is IACV right?

the black is tilted all the way, one way... if its anywhere else it holds a solid 4k RPM idle... when i tilt it to the 1 way it pulses...

its right behind your tb. It's held on by a couple bolts.

How do I check it? Is it plugged in? Yea it is

you undo the bolts to remove it and then you can find guides on how to clean it by searching "clean iacv" on google

1) Clean and adjust the FITV on the throttle body. Do the same for the IACV.

2) Adjust the throttle cable. It should have about 1/2" slack.

3) Clean the entire throttle body.

it was the thing directly under the TB, the thing with the huge screw was about to fall out and i screwed it back in.... it runs ****ing perfect!!! thanks guys,
