92 CX hatch w/91 SI d16a6
I can buy a 92 CX hatch with a blown motor for like 200.00. Can I put my spare d16a6 in there to replace this blown engine. I mean will the a6 just drop in there to replace the d15, without having to buy a different dist. or anything like that. I am hoping to drop it in and start it up as easy as my SI to ZC swap in my 91 SI CRX. I convinced the wife I can buy this car and have it running for next to nothing. Please help out. TIA.

i believe it will but you should use that ecu and also use the cx tranny cause its hydro but def a good buy go for it

indeed, what you will need is to switch the injectors and distributor, to the CX (it will work no matter what but some minor work on the distributor might be required)....the tranny will work without a problem
driver side mount from the CX (will need to be used on the Si), which bolt on...
thermostat housing may need to be switched to cx or at least wires extneded to the one on the si
