hmmm.. Just look under your hood, driver side, to see if you have the black box for cruise control...along with the cable running through it. If there is none present, all you have is a CX with an Si/EX steering wheel.

Probably just has an EX/Si steering wheel. Check under the hood for the cruise unit, as others mentioned - it should be a little black box positioned directly over your driver's side engine mount.
You also have a clock, which was not standard on the CX (optional accessory piece).

Anyone have a pic of what i'm looking for under the hood? either in the fuse case or the cc component?
It seems wierd that they would have the wheel, the button, and it not actually work...

no.....
ok so why would they put the button in? would it normally come with a cx?
it has a female part but no wires inserted...could i hook this up?

CX's don't come with cruise control, or that clock in the picture either. you can find the male inserts for the buttons at the junk yard. the person who had the car before you half did all that, they did the easy part and saved all the wiring for you.
i have a cx also.
