92 civic won't go into gear after engine change
I recently had another engine put into ma eg-6 and at first the car ran cool until yesterday after driving it to San Diego it stopped letting me put my car in any gears. I know that it can't be the clutch because the clutch is still brand new. Do you think my car could just be out of transmission oil or what???

So the could it just be that I'm out of oil in the tranny?? because doesn't the tranny lock up when there's no oil in it?

Just because your CLUTCH is new, doesn't mean your slave cylinder or master cylinder cant be a problem. If fact, throwing a new clutch, especially performance ones, on orignial master/slave cyl. usually puts more strain on the old seals. This often leads to failure. I had a new slave when I installed my spec stage one clutch and soon after my master cylinder started leaking worse. Check your master cylinder and slave cylinder for signs of leaks. Also, check your clutch pedal for free play. too much and you might not fully disengage the clutch.
And no, Transmissions won't lock up with no oil. They will just wear very quickly.
