'92 civic window crank assembly issues
So a friend recently replaced the window crank on my '92 Civic hatchback (VX). The old assembly got really chewed up and there was a long metal piece (the length of the window) on the inside of the window that got all bent up beyond salvaging.
In looking at the explosion of the parts for the door, I can't seem to find this piece as a separate item, but I find it hard to believe it's integral to the entire interior door panel. I figured we'd just leave it out... but the window won't completely align when closed, and sometimes it seems to come off track when rolling up or down.
Is this an issue with the crank regulator assembly, or is it due to the missing part, or both? Does anyone know what the missing part is called, and where I might find it?
Thanks!

Re: '92 civic window crank assembly issues
Unfortunately, no. That's the same parts explosion I saw. This is something that fits right in between the window glass and the door trim panel. I also looked on the explosion for the door trim piece and didn't see it there either.
I'm wondering if it's built into the interior door trim panel?
