Default 92 civic vx d16z6 built 2 cylinders not firing?? help

ok let me start off by saying i am a mechanic for a living and im am truly stumped. i have a built d16z6 top to bottom boosted and has methanol 2 cylinders will not fire went over all the trouble shootin pulled the rail checked for injector spray pulled the plugs checked for spark has spark has fuel but wont ignite. checked the valves they look fine to me... anybody else have an opinion? i figured injectors because when you pull the plugs on the two cylinders you smell no fuel.

Compression good? Is it the same 2 cylinders not firing? Can you swap the injectors around and get those cylinders to fire?

Went all over the plugs put new plugs in same issue. Has good spark all the way across. No need to test posts. Any other ideas?

Do you know what cylinders are not firing? You say 2 cylinders aren't firing. Is it always the same 2 cylinders not firing or is it a random 2 cylinder misfire? Does the engine run on 2 cylinders at all? You're getting fuel, you're getting spark, you have compression. I really don't know what else to turn to other than valves and or timing.

Cylinders 1 and 2 are dead no firing at all. It's not a miss. The tubes on the ram horn are cold till it runs for a min then they start to warm up but I believe that is just heat from the other 2 tubes because when you unplug the plugs in cylinder 1 and 2 it still runs the same.

Never saw you reply about compression numbers. Someone had asked and it seems to have gotten missed.

Fuel, spark.... That only leaves compression, maybe more than just bearings were spun?

I am assuming you used an HEI spark tester so as to rule out the ignition control module. Can't be coil being you get firing in two cylinders.

Last thing might be a bunk ECU but really not sure how that would play into it.

I just got my ecu back from hondata so that would be ruled out ill get the numbers tomorrow it's been real bad out here all day but no everything else was fine in the motor I checked everything when I replaced the bearings. After compression test was good I pulled the valve cover so I can c if the valves are just stuck or something but it started raining. Any other input would be great. Will update tomorrow after checking if valves are stuck with the exact numbers of the compression test

Just for ***** and giggles I pulled my distributor cap off and it had oil in it. It was causing cross spark. Getting new distributor update then.

that means you inner distributer o-ring is leaking. And hmm thought you said my idea of checking the cap/rotor was a waste of time.....?

No it isn't the inner o ring there's screws missing inside the distributor and everything had spark so I wouldn't have thought that it was miss sparking.

You have taken a distributer apart before right ? I did a "DIY" on how to replace the internal o-ring. Where else can oil get inside from ?

Yes and I understand what you are saying yes it is leaking no not because it is bad. There are 2 screws missing that hold the pressure on the o ring for it to seal properly. U see what I'm saying? And it looks like somebody tried taking it apart before because I was gonna take the wheel off and replace it but the screw is stripped so like I said I'm just gonna get a new one..

Did you double check to make sure the mechanical timing was not off by a tooth or two? Car will still run with it off but not very well. Compression would be lowered however if off but still worth double checking the timing marks. Bought a car once with the same symptoms you are having and it was the mechanical timing. It is different from d16z6 to d15b7/8 so who ever did t-belt may have set it for the wrong engine.
