is this based off of the tach? or are you using tuning software showing realtime rpm?

the gauge cluster is reading wrong. I had this happen to me as well and once i installed a jdm oem eg cluster it read very accurate. Seems like this is a common issue with original clusters. My accord will say vtec x over at 4k and fuel cutoff/redline at 6300 when actually vtec is at 5200 and cut off at 7900

^ same here... seems like the 92 95 oem clusters always read off on the tach...i remember my d16z6 rear vtec at 4100 and cut off at 6900. my jdm cluster read dead on with a b16a and now with a h22 it reads dead on the spot. I think the usdm clusters are BS and made cheaply

I read somewhere you can adjust the calibration to correct it but i prefer the nice oem white face jdm cluster anyways.. plus when i speed and get caught i show the officer the km/h and claim i had no idea what exact speed i was going..lol this has worked atleast 6 times... no bs. haha
