If you find one, good luck, I havent found a door pinout for the interconnect to save my soul. Basically you just have to see what colors are on both sides. (I know there is one out there for the 96-00, RonJ has posted it many times before)

So, you need to know which wire colours go where on the 25-pin connector at the door? Is this what you're both looking for?

I believe I have this info, but I'll need a day or two to sort out what I have ... it's in a couple of different places.

OK, here's what I've got. Attached is a PDF with a table full of information. Included is info for the 92-95 CDM / USDM Honda Civics as well as for an RHD JDM EG6. Source for this is the CDM / USDM Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM), the JDM ETM, the OEM JDM Honda Access Installation Instructions for Power Heated Mirrors, and my own experience / research.

Yes, I strongly recommend you get an original harness and just use that. Much easier.

I've done it, but it will take you longer than just removing the dash! (Which is actually pretty easy.)

Im still in the process of setting up the heated mirrors and rewiring the doors after adding the keyless entry from the CR-V (Im using one of the blank spots to pass back the domelight signal wire)

hey deschlong. awesome post. was wondering if you had the more accurate pin layout diagram yet? i am trying to pre-wire my car for pfhm and trying to integrate everything with my current USDM PL PW PM setup. that updated diagram would work wonders. thanks in advance

^ Well, the numbering is accurate, but it just doesn't reflect the physical pin layout on the connector in the best way possible. Feel free to use it as is, but I do have something that's better ... somewhere.

im a bit of a noob when it comes to wiring.ill give it a shot with this one but if you find the other one that would be sweet. i still have to find a place to buy the right colored wires anyways so no rush

I'll tell you right now, there's nobody that can supply the right colour of wires. I don't know why. Well, I looked around back in 2008 and it was basically impossible. I wound up just pillaging wire from existing junked cars. It's a lot of work but that stuff is basically free when you go to pay for it, and it has been remarkably useful over the years.

Rest assured that if this is your first time, then nothing will be 'easy'. It will require much perseverance and learning on your part to get it done properly - which is what I trust you are aspiring for. That "extra" wiring from a pulled harness will come in so much more useful than you will ever know - especially if you're determined to match wiring colours.

By the end you will http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grok wiring.

Extra wiring pulled from busted cars works out to be wonderful. I have a couple boxes of the stuff just as suggested from the Master of OEM luxeries. It has made installing heated seats, compass mirror, heated outer mirrors, retrofitting the lock system to be a lot easier. I expect when the time comes for the engine swap, that having the extra wiring will make a lot of that easier as well.

You guys have any recommendations for which cars to target? I'm assuming for the most part Honda prolly uses similar colored wires across the board? (I hope my qs aren't thread jacking.lol)

Deschlong: nice use of the word grok.definitely gonna use that on an assignment to stump a prof.lol
