92 civic motor swaps
I know this topic has been killed but im still alittle confused on what to do. I just picked up a 92 sedan stick with a ton of miles on it for dirt cheap. I havent really been into the honda seen for a few years after gettin rid of my ep3. But the d15 has bad rings and is gettin oil on the spark plugs. My question is either rebuild or swap but i want a swap that produces more power but im ok with something thats not the fastest on the road and must be cheap and a 1 or 2 day swap since this car is a dd. Thanks.

What is so confusing? Find the engine with the most horsepower/torque that you can afford. Period. Otherwise your question is far too open ended to receive usable answers and have no tech in it.

Re: 92 civic motor swaps
Please search. There are several threads with engine information in it. GSR, LS/VTEC, Type R, B16, SOHC threads, etc..
