I have a 92 4dr civic. just got done putting in a D15B. But it is not completed. i have 2 codes. An idle air control and a MAP sensor. I changed to the P28 ecu. my old map sensor connector still has power to it yet the new one doesn't. i was wondering if the 3 wires for the map sensor going to the ecu are the same wires from the old ecu to the new P28, or will i have to switch them between the connectors on the D connector. hopefully someone can help. haven't got to drive it lately and i need my fix.

wires are same. make sure you dont have the tps and map sensor plugs switched, common mistake

checked that and they wheren't swithed. i guess i just have alot of tracing to do. i just don't understand why my old map sensor still has voltage going to and my new one doesn't. i'll check that out tommorrow on my day off and keep you informed. keep postin.

Maybe the plugs in the new harness are shot.

thats what I was thinking... or a bad connection in the harness...
