92 Civic LX swap
I'm pretty hellbent on swapping a k20 into a civic. For about 2 weeks I've been looking for a suitable coupe/hatch (or even a del-sol) swap candidate. I've more or less given up hope, and been reduced to doing it to my 4 door. Any advice, on where I can find a suitable swap car (something cheap, motorless works, somewhere in the NE area). Also, feedback on the 4door swap. My thoughts are: should be pretty damn fast, ultimate sleeper, easy enough swap.
I found a suitable motor on http://www.hmotorsonline.com for a relatively good price. Found a shop that will do it for a reasonable price. Still want a lighter car, why pay 5 grand to put a motor in a heavy car.
Thanks in advance.
**Edit aparently spelling isnt my friend**

Re: 92 Civic LX swap (92LX K20swap)
Then suddenly a possibility arises from the ashes:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
"Salvage" Del-sol. Not 100% sure how the k20 will fit into this vehicle though, thoughts?
Still looking for other possibilities, however its looking grim. WHY O WHY CANT I FIND A 94-99 CIVIC WITH NO MOTOR FOR LIKE 1000 BUCKS!!

Re: 92 Civic LX swap (92LX K20swap)
shells can be found.
When you can, try looking the the marketplace.
autotrader and ebay have them sometimes.
Or just buy a bone stock whatever with 1,000,000 miles on it.
You're not worried about what motor it has becausr you're changing it anyway.
As long as it runs long enough to get to the swap spot.
