92 Civic LX D15b/D15b8 Questions
Hello all, I swapped in a D15B block with a D15b8 head (needed a engine asap and someone was selling it) and I've been having a few problems... It has all of the B7 things such as intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors and ECU.
1. What do I set the timing at? 12 or 16? d15b8 calls for 12 while the d15b calls for 16.
2. There is power loss through out the rpm range, just not a constant power, kind of kicks back a little.
3. On cold idle it idles rough.. First start ups = low rpm and sometimes even stalling.. I can't drive off right away because I have to rev it for a second or else it will just bog down. Also the RPM is at 650 at cold idle to warm idle..
It's a 5spd with no mods and I just replaced plug, wires, cap and rotor... Compression test on engine says 210psi on each cylinder
