Icon2 92 civic hatchback vx (98 typeR swap)

I'm new to Honda-Tech. I have a 92 civic hatchback vx with a 94 GS-R engine in there right now. I just bought a 98 integra typeR spec-R(210hp) and getting ready to swap it in. My GS-R is obd1 and my typeR is obd2. What will I need for this swap?

Since your new and no one has posted yet, I'd recomend searching. Everyone will tell you that. Reason why is the topic has been covered a billion times over. However, AFAIK all you will need is the OBD1 distrubutor from the GSR. But I could be wrong or you need more.
But I'm sure you know the trans, axles, and shift linkage you have will work.
Just remember next time, search search search!

**Edit. Agreed with ^.

sorry it took so long for me the reply. I sold my gsr engine so I won't be using anything for my gsr. I still have all my wiring that connect to my cluster and ecu which is obd1. I don't have the gsr engine hardness no more because I give away with the engine. Now what would I need to do or get.

Okay. I guess I have to buy a obd1 ecu for my type R. I was wondering if my catback that was on my GsR with fit on my type R.

Easiest thing to do is get a '97 - '99 USDM ITR harness, plugs into the OBD1 shock tower plugs and allows you to keep your OBD2 alternator, injectors and distributor, alternatively get a GS-R harness or an LS harness and add the vtec wiring.

okay. I just found of that my GSR that was in my hatch was a OBD2 and not a OBD1. That very good new. So does that mean I could just plug in everything for my ITR.?

Hey alan dont mean to thread jack but i'm in the same situation as you i have 92 hatchback cx that i just sold my swap out of and just purchased a 98 typeR swap. So i'm curious does anyone kno if there is a jumper that will alow me to plug in the obd2 typeR ecu in to my obd1 harness under the dash, or do i have to use another chipped ecu?
