Not sure if this is the correct location for this post, but regardless, a b20 is a dual cam, MPFI, 2 liter engine. I believe it was found in Honda CRV's exclusively, but don't quote me on that.
If you're buying from CL i highly suggest asking the owner to remove the valve cover and send pictures of the modifications done to the valvetrain. Seeing inside the engine can also give you a VERY general sense of how the engine was maintained.
Start there and report back with pictures.

Re: 92 civic hatch build
Or just double check the compression, my bet is a crower cam will change that. Double check standard compression for a b20, then do a test on the cl motor. If improved compression, then it more than likely will have one. Also, is there only just a cam installed? Why put a new shoelace on a shoe without updating the sole and tread and inserts? See what I did there?
