Default 92 Civic with gsr.. Obd1 or Obd2?

I'm planning on buying a 92 civic si hatch with a 98 gsr engine. How do I find out if it was converted to Obd1 or Obd2? The seller does not know.

Look for the ECU in the passenger side, and look at the ECU plugs
http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd1.htm
^there's OBD1

http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd2a.htm
^there's OBD2a

http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd2b.htm
^there's OBD2b

there might be an easier way like reading the numbers off the ECU, but i'm not exactly sure. just trying to give a speedy reply

If there are a bunch of cut up wires or or a jumper harness I would guess obd2 but I imagine it will be a obd1 ecu if it looks clean and OEM.

I highly, highly doubt anyone converted the car to run an OBD2 ECU. You have a 99% chance there's a P28 plugged in under the passenger footwell. Maybe a p72 if it has the stock manifold.

No, pull the carpet back on the passenger kick panel and take a pic of where the plugs plug in.
