Default Is this 92 Civic a good deal for $1k obo?

Help! Do you think this is a good deal?

I will look at a Honda Civic EX 1992 tomorrow. It's red 4dr 92 EX overall paint in very good shape, 104k miles 5 speed. clean title for $1k obo. Im thinking of making a $600 bones offer.

Here's the catch...it has a blown motor due to overheat. is this a good buy for 1 grand or what's a good price for a blown motor?

I will check it out tommorow and possibly buy it...

If it has minimal rust, and you've actually checked that it has a clean title, go for it.

Motors are fairly cheap, especially D-series.

I would get it. 92-95 4 doors are getting harder to find in good condition. I'm looking for another one myself.

And for $1000 it's a good deal either way.

yeah it's an EX model...has the sunroof and the EX sticker logo at the back at one of the pics.

never seen the door tweeter pod before though. I used to own a white 93 ex civic 4dr about 4 yrs ago and it didn't come with tweeter pod

Yeah, pick that thing up quick. 4drs have grown on me since I have seen people do nice things with a drop, rims, and a lip. I was so used to seeing "vato inspired" faded paint 4drs with plastic spinners and mufflers tips all thanks to Manny Mo and Jack.
