92 civic front end squeaks in steering/suspension
i have a 92 civic LX bone stock, with the d15b7 motor, and it has some squeaks up front, the car has had them since I got it about a week ago, for a while I though they were in the suspension because it would squeak whenever I got in or out, and when driving, but it squeaks when i turn the wheel while sitting so i believe it is also in the steering or it is all in the steering, but I have no clue where to look, any help would be awesome, thanks.
The PO of the car said he replaced the lower control arm bushings but it did not fix the squeak.

Re: 92 civic front end squeaks in steering/suspension
how many miles are on the car?
Have you inspected it to see if anything looks new and has been replaced
inner tie rod ends
outer tie rod ends
sway bar END links
sway bar frame bushings
upper ball joints
lower ball joints
control arm bushings (UPPER AND LOWER)
Compliance bushings LEFT AND RIGHT
^^ all of the above need to be inspected for excessive wear/breakage/tearing.

Could be any of numerous components of the steering/suspension. Have a buddy get in the car while turning the wheel while you kneel down and listen to where it's coming from.

Extremely likely to be your lower ball joints. They bear the full weight of the front of the car and have the task of rotating when you steer, Very typical to be making noise at 200k+

Re: 92 civic front end squeaks in steering/suspension
Think I found the squeak, but I'm not sure what that is, or how to replace it, any info? I've never done anything with steering or suspension on a Honda so I have no clue what any of it is other then the upper and lower ball joints and control arms, don't know much about rack and pinion steering since all my vehicles before this have been solid axle 4x4's and a 90' prelude that I only had for a month and never actually drove since I never got it registered.
Thanks.
