ok i have a 92 civic dx hatch....i keep hearing a constant knocking noise coming from the right front side of the car by the tire so i think its sumthing with suspension but i dunno wat it is....can anyone tell me wats making that noise its so annoying

SUMTIMES IT DOES IT NONSTOP BUT SUMTIMES IT DONT DO IT AT ALL I THINK IT DEPENDS ON HOW BUMPY THE ROAD IS

Is it just a sound or does it vibrate through the car?

Does the sound appear when the car is on but not moving? If it only occurs when moving, it could possibly be an axle. If it only occurs on certain roads, it could be a flapping tire. If it occurs and vibrates, it could be a new *****.


My guess is its a bad axle.

check if yur plastic bushing on your axel is ripped

Take your car to a certified and well-respected mechanic.

check all your suspension bolts, make cure they are tight. also could be worn out upper ball joint.

HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE AN UPPER BALL JOINT IS THERE SUMTHING SPECIAL I NEED TO DO OR JUST TAKE IT OUT
