92 Civic driver side brake knocking
Well I recently replaced the bushings on my lower control arms front on my car. And got my car aligned. After doing so my front driver side break makes a loud knocking noise when breaking slowly. Not sure what it is I checked my breaks can't find anything and never messed with them also car shakes a little when breaking. So what could the noise be?
Forgot to mention I had to replace my bearings as well had to do it to get my car aligned.

check your axle. i had almost the same problem. i redid everything in the front, upper and lower control arms tie rods upper ball joint, everything. i still feel like i still get a knock when i brake but idk check your axles maybe. or rotors!

My guess would be if you were to replace your bushings and you got some type that has a sleeve that slides into the bushing and was used for the shock to control arm mount. That would allow the shock to slide around in the bushing letting it bang against the control arm when braking.. my old worn out oem bushings had the sleeve separate from the molded rubber around it causing the shock to move on the lower arm.. I replaced mine using a cnc 150 ton brake press at work and they screeched like hell pushing them out lol. Smartest thing to do to help prevent wear on them is if you ever jack up your car and have to remove the bolt the hold the shock, don't tighten it until the car is back on the car and suspension has settled...
