92 Civic Driver Door Stuck
I've had problems with my lock sticking before, but have always been able to get unstuck. I locked my doors one night and now my driver door won't open inside or out. Using the key doesn't do anything. I'm not sure if it's stuck in lock position or if door is jammed.. we messed with it last night and it appeared the lock would move to unlocked position but it still wouldn't budge. Any suggestions?

Re: 92 Civic Driver Door Stuck
My car has aftermarket automatic locks and the arm for the actuator (the automatic part) slid where it clamps on to the original arm. This kept the original arm from moving to unlock. I can't remember how I got it open to get the interior panel off to fix it though. I'm thinking through the hole somehow after taking off the inside lock. The original non-automatic rod runs from the bottom of the inside lock straight back and the servo was clamped to it about 6" from the back of the door. Good luck

Does the lock button on the inside come all the way up?
If the door is partway open (gap between the door and the frame) it may be jammed. In that case you could try pushing it closed until it latches fully then try to open it.

It doesn't appear to be coming up all the way. I don't think the door is jammed. It appears to not want to unlock. I found a video showing how to open it using the release pin but I'm having problems locating it on mine and I'm not sure it'd work if the door is in fact locked.
