92 civic d15 non vtec intake manifold swap to d16y8 intake manifold

Default 92 civic d15 non vtec intake manifold swap to d16y8 intake manifold

ok so I have a y8 intake manifold and I wanted to put it in my 92 civic dx with a d15 and the y8 manifold doen't have a spot for Intake Air Temp (IAT) sensor can I run without this? I have seen the IAT sensor relocated to the intake arm will this work? and can I use the d15 throttle body and injectors

No you cannot run without it. Mount it to the intake.

so drill holes into the intake arm and bolt it down right

No can't run without it.
Yes, just tap some holes for the screws and for the IAT to insert in

ok so I put it in today and it runs great but when u first start it the car will idle really low 100-200 rpm but once u lightly tap the gas pedal it will go to 1k rpm and stay there and run perfect any ideas do I need a ex ecu still using the dx one

Check the throttle cable.

ok got it fixed I forgot to bleed out coolant system had a whole bunch of air in it and now it runs fine I also noticed alittle more throttle response or is it just mu head playing tricks on me
