92 Civic CX, want to add pass. door mirror, is it already wired for one?
Hello all!
I want to add a passenger side power door mirror to my 92 Civic CX Hatchback which doesnt have a mirror at all on that side,and im wondering if the car might be already wired for the power mirror switchon the dash and mirror at the door or not? Seems to me thats the way Honda used to do things back in the early 80's on the Civic's, but i want to be sure before i buy a power pass. side mirror and switch. I looked, but i cant tell from the switch hole if it is or not....

It's not wired, but you shouldn't have power mirrors on a CX, atleast not from the factory.

No it is not "wired" for it because the car does not have power mirrors. I mean you should kind of notice this when you adjust your drivers side mirror. You can just take the block-off plate off and the previsions are there to add one. The only problem is you can't buy one from Honda anymore. You'd have to find a used one. If you want one I have one I'll sell dirt cheap as I have no use for it.
